EVERY NEW CUSTOMER IS SPECIAL

The voice mail was left the night before.  I check my messages immediately upon arrival at the office.  It was from Dominick.  He was wondering if we would come to clean his windows, as well as wipe down the metal work, clearing away the construction dust, and some spackle.  I made a metal note to call him shortly and proceeded to check my email.

I barely finished with email and the phone rang.  It was Dominick.  Construction was finished on his new Laundromat, 24 Hour Laundry Depot.  Over the past six weeks, I managed to stop by once per week, and we became acquainted week by week.  Of course I described the benefits of professional window cleaning.  I explained that we offer great value especially for a business such as his. "We will make your new Laundromat beautiful and attract that many more good customers."

May we come by tomorrow, I asked.  I was hoping that you could come today, he replied.  I quickly responded, I'll be there myself at one o'clock this afternoon.  He then commented, "I thought that you'd send a crew."  I laughed and said, "You will see our crew of one."

I was fortunate to reach Mike Giustino by phone.  I asked Mike if he could give me a hand with the job.  The account will be on Mike's route.  He agreed to join me when he finished his route work sometime that afternoon.  As luck would have it, I barely parked, and Mike pulled into the lot right behind me. We worked until three o'clock, to job completion.  The place gleamed.  A bonus for me was the good conversation that Mike and I had as we worked.

I lay flat in the parking lot to shoot this picture of Mike as the snow fell.
